Enhance Your Space: Using Fragrance Oils in Diffusers

Ceramic Diffusers

Let’s start with the easiest way to scent a space: the diffuser.

  • Add 5–8 drops of fragrance oil per 100 mL of water.

  • Want it stronger? Go up to 10 drops—but ease in. These oils are concentrated and bold (just like you).

  • Bonus: Add a splash of high-proof vodka to help disperse the oil evenly—just don’t drink it, darling.

🌿 Reed Diffusers

Perfect for bathrooms, entryways, or that one room where someone always “forgets” to light a candle.

  • Mix 20% fragrance oil with 80% carrier oil (like fractionated coconut or safflower).

  • Use natural rattan reeds and flip them every few days to keep the scent throwin’.

  • Keep away from direct sunlight—it breaks down the oils faster and nobody wants sad scent.

🕯 Using Oils for Candle Making

Ready to get crafty?

  • Add fragrance oil when your wax cools to around 150–160°F (65–71°C) for best scent retention.

  • Use about 10% oil by weight of your wax. Too much = oily tops, too little = where’d it go?

  • Stir like you're casting a spell—at least 60 seconds for full blend.

🛁 Bath & Body DIYs

You can totally DIY without turning into a TikTok chemist.

  • For a body oil, use 1 mL fragrance oil per 30 mL carrier oil.

  • For a bath soak, add 5–10 drops of oil into unscented Epsom salts (then stir into water).🚫 Do not add straight oil to bathwater unless you enjoy slipping like Bambi on ice.

🧠 Safety First, Always

  • Patch-test if you’re applying to skin.

  • Store oils in a cool, dark place (a drawer, not your glove box).

  • Reminder: This is perfume oil, not essential oil—don’t ingest, don’t eye-drop, and keep it away from pets and kids.

✨ Make It Yours

Fragrance oils don’t just live on your skin—they live in your world. Whether you’re diffusing for dinner guests, crafting candles for gifts, or just soaking your stress away, there’s no wrong way to scent like a Southern Debauchee.
